Sumesh Nair

Mr. Sumesh Nair is a Chemical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in Risk Management, Underwriting and Claims. He has worked with some of the largest insurance/ Reinsurance companies. He has also headed the risk engineering department of one of the largest insurance brokers in India.

He has rich experience of inspecting various large risks like Refineries, Semiconductor facilities, Power plant, Steel Plant, Petrochemicals, Textile & Spinning mills etc. in India and abroad. Also, he has well over 4 years of industrial experience in operation of cement / chemical companies, process and project engineering in various capacities.

He has also undergone three Months of specialized training in cement manufacturing technology from NCCBM (National Council for Cement & Building Material) – Ballabhgarh – Haryana and done various loss prevention training at FM Global Research Campus at Norwood, Massachusetts, U.S.A. He has published various loss prevention articles and published a paper on ‘Impact of cold tunnel environment on Fire Fighting Equipment’s at Winter Road Congress, Andorra.
